Some of mine:

Long Run-Phil Kenzie
Year of the Cat-Phil Kenzie
Baker Street-Raphael Ravenscroft
Us and Them-Dick Perry
Born to Run-Clarence Clemmons
Time Passages-Phil Kenzie

but the best of all to me is Phil Kenzie on Al Stewart's Song on the Radio

Click the link and you don't have to wait even a second for the soloist to hit it. First note is a

Chillingly good.

Yeah more of a hook really, but Baker Street is the best IMO.

More jazzy than the normal rock/pop song, but Jazz great Wayne Shorter does the tenor sax solo in Steely Dan's "Aja".

Solo at 4:40, but don't skip through the guitar solo before it by Denny Dias.

Not a solo, but I do love that "Careless Whisper" sax.

I would have to check who the player was,but on Dire Straits"On The Night" Live album, there was a pretty killer Sax solo on Romeo and Juliet, and it fades into steel guitar by Paul Franklin. It's pretty great.
