I will absolutely respect you and your thread's "favorite", implying one and only one song in "disco song" category. Two versions of same song:

Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive (with lyrics)
Late 70s, early 80s disco - yeah, here we go - Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive

Danced in Pittsburgh in 1979 to this like mad.

In respect for one song at a time, I will mention you guys missed Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff", "Bad Girls", and "She Works Hard For The Money" from late 70's disco. Fantastic songs. I may post in future. Danced to all of them at time. Love them.

Night Fever

The extended version of the Stones 'Miss You' is mostly how they recorded it before edited down for the album. Some even better Wyman bass.

Shows what they know, that song reached no. 1 on the U.S. charts and no. 3 in the U.K. so the Stones laughed all the way to the bank

That's the textbook example of selling out.

OK. First of all, throw any Michael Jackson songs out. Not disco. Stones, Kiss, SOS Band. Again not disco. I got about 100 Disco songs on my Spotify playlist. The Trammps, Car Wash, Chic, Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Village People, Tavares, Instant Funk, Vaughan Mason and Crew. You Should Be Dancing by the Bee Gees is THE disco song.
