I am sorry but just a fan of their thrash era.
Thing that should not be
Phantom Lord
Neither over played and mixing it up!

No need to apologize for liking good music.

Dyers eve and Trapped under ice, but their cover of breadfan is like a bronzed statue of what metal should sound like.
Dyers eve is a weird song in that they double time guitar riff under a simple drum pattern for the intro and then switch to the drums playing double time and the guitars just holding open chords, then switching back and forth with the chorus having everybody playing in normal time. its the only song they ever did with that sort of mismatching consistently for an entire song. maybe for a flavor in a fill for one section, but nothing like dyers eve. the solo is a mish mash of about 4 or 5 solos combined into one. the song is just such a mutt of a song but has probably the most powerful lyrics of any of their songs. no throwaway lines in this gem.

Don't be sorry.....I'm glad you have taste in the REAL Metallica. They were a beast with Burton on bass.
1. Battery (Master of Puppets)
2. The Four Horsemen (Kill Em All)
Master of Puppets is the best damn metal album that will ever be recorded.
