Fun fact of the day: widespread panic isn't a jam band

if you're into redneck cover bands, sure. You've never seen Mikey before. Kids these days will never know what it was like to see him. Only guitarist I've ever seen too pussy to stand up and play guitar

I bet he sits when he pees too...well before he was six feet under

It's ok to be an ignorant piece of troll shite, but for Christ's sake, you don't have to celebrate it.

If you're saying DB jams, do you mean setting prerecorded synth loops on repeat while barber is playing power/bar chords in a neat pattern then yes they "jam"

Wow Steve Austin

Did that make you feel better little guy?

Redneck band? Ladies and Gentleman, lets not forget Steve Austin was asking for recommendations on a dinner spot before he goes to see Jason Aldeen a few months back. He also admitted that he hates the Rolling Stones. I wouldn't take anything he says too seriously

I guess WSP must be doing something right, but I just don't get them. Let me rephrase: I USED to get them, back when I saw them in clubs & theatres way back when. By 1998, I couldn't handle it any more. Once they got bigger, it was like someone whispered in their ears "you're a jam band, so jam more!", and they don't deliver to me in that aspect. More power to ya if it moves ya, and I'll still defend their first 4 or 5 studio albums. I thought getting Herring would've rekindled my interest, but whatever live footage I've seen, he seems just as bogged down as MH was...

I used to be like you kid. Unlike you, I was seeing the real WSP with Houser back in the 80s and 90s. Then he died and WSP was dead as I knew them.

Then as I got older, I realized that EDM was taking over the scene. I started listening to artists like Griz, Pretty Lights, and Conspirator then realized how boring panic was. IMO the EDM artists are the new kings of the jam scene. I'm saving up right now for Imagine fest and Tomorrowlamd in Belgium.

One day you'll get it kid, what it means to understand PEACE LOVE UNITY and RESPECT. I'll pray that jah shows your the light.
