Why is Kasabian so overlooked here?

You have the great song that is Stevie.

Fire

Lost Souls Forever

Club Foot

Empire

If nothing else, their groove is infectious. Having seen them in 2005 I can say they bring it fricking down live. Why don't they get more love in the states?

Wankers

J/K
I like them. Sometimes I'll mix them in on the jukebox rotation at the bar, and they're pretty well received.

Bought their debut album way back when it was released. Not something I listen to regularly, but they are good. Probably overlooked here by they aren't a jam band or classic rock.

One of the best live bands on the planet. Seen them twice and both times they've been incredible

More referring to in the states but that's a good point too

Yup. I hadn't heard much of their stuff when I saw them but wow. They were great.

I kinda remembered the hype around their debut, but can't recall a song... weren't they being lauded by Oasis at the time, attributing to the buzz?

Yeah, I saw them open for Oasis at Lakewood in 2005. They were ok I guess.
