Who would you say is the king of the south in today's rap game?

T.I. claims it. He hasn't dropped anything hot lately though. I might would even put Juicy J ahead of him. To answer the question though it's probably Lil Wayne. Since Pimp C's death, Lil Flip's last 2 album flops, Mike Jones, & all other Houston rappers ain't hittin' on nothing these days.

No one. Hip hop isn't territorial like it was in the 90's. Not many claim their region thanks in part to YouTube, Facebook and modern social media.

T.I. is a pop star
The answer: Gucci Mane La Flare

Krit is one of my favorites. His sound is very southern and he reps it unapologetically.

Unfortunately, this is true. Though I think he's on the decline in popularity or about to become so pop/mainstream that he's irrelevant as a real representative of hip hop culture.

What happened to Waka Flaka Flame?

I've been to sell out concerts of Krits in Nashville and Birmingham. He is undisputed the best southern rapper currently.

If we're talking prince of the south, Mystikal is still reigning.
