I think he is underrated, a lot like John Mayer. Jack White just has that blues rhythm in his guitar. Im not a huge fans of his vocals, but he does have some skill.

White is not that technically proficient, but he has an original sound. That is the most important thing IMO when playing guitar.

Derek Trucks. I'm not the biggest fan but he is probably the most "skilled"

Unfortunately a lot of people only know John Mayer for his popular stuff and are quite surprised to find out how good of a guitarist he is.

Ive always felt they are pretty similar guitarists though.
