Have an old Crate g40C that is in need of some repair. Anybody have a place in the Baton Rouge area that they recommend?

I also would like to know.

I wonder if the Guitar Center does work on amps?

This should be like asking Broke about watches.

I have the exact same problem. Only difference is I want to get rid of an old slightly malfunctioning Crate amp of mine. I asked a few places about trade ins on it and they all said nope. I'm about a hair trigger from putting it out with the garbage.

I don't fix amps, just fretted instruments (hence the name haha). GC doesn't "fix" amps to my knowledge. For a Crate combo, Kenny at Red Stick is your best bet locally.
