Great "singers" in country are usually the women.
George can't wail or anything. Never been accused of having pipes. Just the combo of singing and body of work. His song selection. He has multiple classics.
Name a GREAT male country vocalist? Females I could rattle off 10 but men? All have a weird voice or a style that can polarize them. Or be accused of being too plain, which fits George.
