Been jamming their newest album, and I really enjoy it. Just picked up their debut, and hopefully will dig it to.

Really, really like some of their songs. Others I find to be a little meh.
Liked more songs on their first album than their second, personally.

the backstory behind left hand free is a little disappointing. I like some of their songs though.

Their first album, An Awesome Wave, was a great album from start to finish. This Is All Yours wasn't all that great imo but that had a lot to do with Gwil Sainsbury leaving the band. Their sound just isn't the same.

Fitzpleasure is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I have checked out other songs by them on youtube and haven't been able to get into them as much.

Dig their first album, second one is kinda meh to me.
His vocal style can be cool as hell at times but also off putting as well in other moments with the words being hardly understandable.

He is a really good singer but has a strange voice, I like it. It is very hard to understand what he's saying most of the time though.

The songs on the first album and way too dynamic for me. The second album is not as dynamic on the individual song level but the album just doesn't interest me and I cringe every time I hear Every Other Freckle.
Which reminds me the lyrics are absolute trash on both albums.
Fitzpleasure was inspired by a short story about a chick named Tralala getting gangraped and killed with a broom. Left Hand Free was a pandering attempt at redneck America and for a Bud Light commercial. And Every Other Freckle still might be the worst.

This thread reeks of "I really liked them before they got popular, but now that they are played on the radio and tv I don't listen to them anymore because I am not a conformist and my hipster friends that look and dress just like me will tell me I am not hipster enough..."
