Saw them on The Resistance tour. Fantastic show actually. This stage setup was pretty cool.

Should have called it the Faith Tour.

I saw Muse at Rupp Arena on their very first album tour, as a supporting act. I'm not sure but anyway, I think it was Pearl Jam and Sparta that were the rest of the bill. They seemed like an early Radiohead rip off band to me at the time. But man, they came into their own and have put out some killer albums since then.

another vote for Muse....seen them over 10 times....such a great live band.

Remember the Knights of Cyclodonia era and was a fan was pumped when they opened for U2 back in the day.

And if you like them...I would recommend Biffy Clyro who is huge in Europe but has never translated here as much as Muse

Only 3 times here. Honestly I haven't kept up with their new stuff. Last album I listened to was Simulation Theory. Will have to check your dates and see them again when I get the opportunity.

He's also a great backup vocalist - and even sings lead on a few tracks.

Muse is one of my favorite bands. Saw them live in Oslo in 2013, Nashville and Atlanta in 2017, and Washington DC in 2019. Their early albums are incredible and, like someone said above, have completely changed their style and aren't near as good. I listened to their most recent album once and haven't touched it since. Origin of Symmetry, Showbiz, Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations are all fantastic albums. There are some decent songs on The Resistance, 2nd Law, Drones, and Simulation Theory but there are fewer good ones with each passing album.

They do put on an incredible live performance though.

I’m a fan.

The earlier stuff does it for me more than the new stuff.

To me, that's their opus. Not a single bad second.

Here's my favorite deep cut from that one: Exogensis Part II - this one has it all, piano, metal, grandiosity, space rock, etc.

2nd Law
Their opus #2, IMO. These are 2 perfect albums.

I actually find the first 3 albums great, but more they are promising for what was to come in full bloom in later albums.

I often describe them as "Radiohead, if Radiohead were actually uninteresting".
