I like a lot on your list and "Hurt" by Johnny Cash is truly special, but I have to go with "Hounds of Love" by The Futureheads as my favorite.

I personally prefer the Derek and the Dominos version.

They recorded it 8 days prior to Jimi's death and added it to the album later as a tribute. That's not the reason I prefer it, but I just thought that was cool.

PJ did a great job with that. Probably helps to have some of the original musicians playing, but Eddie nailed the vocals.
