voodoo fest parking

first year going and have no idea where i should park. any one care to give suggestions?

There is plenty of parking on the streets around the park. Just make sure you park where you can't be blocked in.

Last thing you want is to be leaving and find you are stuck behind or in front of another car.

well im going for the metallic show on saturday night and thats the last thing so hopefully i wont get blocked in haha. thanks for the heads up though

I would strongly recommend parking a little bit away, and simply taking the street car, which drops you off right at the museum. It's not a bad wait at all, and it beats the hell out of paying $30 (or more??), and the long lines, etc.

it all depends on how early you get there. i normally got there around noon and could easily park right off city park ave. in the neighborhood for free. if you don't mind walking a bit and getting there later, there's always parking about a mile or so away from the gates off carrollton.

You used to be able to park on the neutral ground off Marconi Drive, but I'm not sure if they still allow that...it's reallllly convenient having friends that live a few blocks from City Park.

This is how I've done it the last few times. It's going to be a cluster, it's all pretty hit or miss.
