I could barely just list 5, so ranking will be impossible (70s > every other decade):

Brian Eno - Another Green World
David Bowie - Low
The Clash - London Calling
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings and Food

and like 15 more albums that are interchangeable on this list

You like this one more than Another Green World? I guess I could see it, really any of Eno's "rock/pop" albums could have made my list.

Eno = the tits

Yeah it is impossible to list only 5, especially as it is ever-changing.

Aerosmith - rocks
Zeppelin - physical graffiti
Zeppelin - houses of the holy
The Who - who's next
Queen - sheer heart attack
Tom Petty - damn the torpedoes

It varies from time to time but those 5 are usually in the mix.

yep, I like AGW as well, and I know it is usually regarded as his best, but it may skew a bit too much towards ambient for me.
