In honor of one the greatest music icons passing away, I'll list my ten favorites. So hard to choose just 10.

1. Heroes
2. Ashes to Ashes
3. Modern Love
4. Space Oddity
5. Fashion
6. Golden Years
7. Life on Mars?
8. Let's Dance
9. I'm Afraid of Americans
10. Suffragette City

I know this might not be a popular comment, but I wouldn't even have Heroes in my top 10. Singles from his first 6 albums dominate my top 10, with the exception of Under Pressure.

Under Pressure, Man Who Sold The World and Changes has to be in there. Maybe fame. I like Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed.

9. I'm Afraid of Americans

I bought this cd when it first came out. The original version of this is ok, but the Trent Reznor remix, the one most people are familiar with, is great. It was added to later pressings but my cd doesn't have it.

This or Cat People need to be included simply because of the collaboration with Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Rebel Rebel is probably my favorite. Too many great ones to list. Everyone seems to have a different Bowie song as their favorite. I guess you really don't realize how much you miss a musician, actor or celebrity until they die. From the time I was born, David Bowie has been a huge part of the musical landscape. His songs were in the background of my growing up years. I was as shocked over this one as any I have ever been.

His band deserves a lot of credit. I love the guitar in that and suffragate city.

I was born in the 80s he wasn't very relevant but the way he changed is pretty amazing. I don't consider myself a huge fan.
