Is anyone familiar with this band? I discovered them a few months back on KEXP's youtube channel. Their music really defies normal music categories. I absolutely love it. They basically took their traditional nomadic music and ported it to more western instrumentation.

I like how they use unique guitar patterns. 4 bar blues and rock progressions can only go so far before retreading.

They are awesome. I have seen them in Lafayette and New Orleans. If you like them you may want to check out Bombino. Dan Auerbach produced his last album.
