He really doesn't get a lot of mention on this board, that dude is great though.

I would put his accomplishments up there with anybody's,he sure is a hell of a songwriter.

Not a huge country music fan, but that is a very good song.

Written by one of the best songwriters around, Lori McKenna. Very cool of Tim
McGraw to record it, but her version wins.

He sucks...was good about 20 years ago but other than the song with Taylor Swift, his music lately has been terrible.

McGraw is not a great songwriter by his own admission. Fortunately, he knows and works with many great songwriters and has the same skill as George Strait (to some degree) in picking great songs to record.

I have always gone back/forth on McGraw...some stuff I like and some stuff....not so much. His longevity is to be admired. However, he soiled Faith Hill.

I like his older stuff. Don't really listen to his newer stuff.

Truck yeah is an all time terrible song

His music went down hill right after he married Faith. Became much more adult contemporary than country. Plus, he is a huge d-bag.

Kind of hard to do considering his two biggest hits to that point were "Indian Outlaw" and "Don't Take The Girl". He rode Faith to success (pun intended).

I have never checked the credits on any of his stuff, for some reason,I thought he was involved in writing most of his stuff.

I've always liked Tim's music for the most part. Some of his songs get pretty cornball but he has some that really tug at your emotions too. Louisiana guy who is always repping LSU so what's not to like?
