Anyone else going?

Anyone seen any of their recent shows? Wondering if they're shilling their new album or if I can expect them to play a healthy amount of selections off the self-titled album.

All I know is that it has been a while since I have seen "Sold Out" next to any artist's name on the Varsity Marquis. For a Wednesday night, too? The entire collective class of 1998 must be coming to the Varsity tonight.

It's been sold out practically sense they went on sale. Last time I went to a sold out show was maybe Switchfoot 5 years ago. The crowd was awesome. Tons of crowd surfing and the band really fed off of the energy.

I have no desire to see them today. I only liked a couple of their songs.

I did see them during a beach concert at Camp Lejeune in either 98 or 99. It was a fun show, but I cooked like a lobster.

I know it's not hip to still like them, but I'll still admit they're atop my favorite bands of all time. Have gone to a few shows over the past year -- they seem willing to sprinkle in the cult classics, the new songs, and old favorites.

From the looks of Setlist.fm, that's still the plan, though it seems heavy on Dopamine (their recent release). LINK

Third Eye Blind puts on a really entertaining show, and they sound much heavier at the smaller venues.

I've always wanted to see these guys. I was going to see them at Voodoo on Sunday this year if it wasn't for the rain.

I didn't know it was ever hip to like them. I'd never heard of anyone admit to like them before I read it on this board several years ago.. They were always like todays version of Nickelback among my friends group.

Saw them back in July and was able to get a set list after the show.

They played way more old hits than they did the time I saw them before in NOLA back in 2011. Plus their new stuf isn't bad at all compared to the previous CD.

The only thing that sucks is God of Wine is last on the set list, but they didn't play it at the show. Hopefully you guys get it!

Any reviews of the show? I thought they put on a great show. Played the hits with a fair lean towards their new album. I thought the three song tribute to David Bowie was a nice nod and very unexpected.

Thought the crowd was a little lackluster, but it picked up towards the end of the show.

Ready for their next show in br or nola already.
