The vulnerability and angst in Yorke's voice is perfect for radiohead. Do you really think a Bach version of Fake Plastic Trees or No Surprises would be better? I can't imagine that being the case.

I don't think the idea of replacing a guy who doesn't have a great voice with a guy who has a great voice, and thinking the result would be better songs, is terribly outlandish.
