So, in other words, I'm not asking you to list your single favorite live performance, but the song that you think is the most repeatedly awesome live. Like, any time it's performed live, it's probably going to be awesome.

While I reserve the right to change my mind on this, I'll put in a preliminary vote for Kings of Leon - Trani

Shipping Up to Boston - Dropkick Murphys

I have been to at least twenty DKM shows and have never seen a crowd get so up for a song.

Solid

Really, almost anything by ABB.

I really like "Jane Says" by Jane's Addiction as well.

David Bowie - Suffragette City
Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland 1945
The Stone Roses - Resurrection
The Walkmen - The Rat

All songs that would make a show for me.

Obviously a great song, but Duane passed before a definitive live version was played. Stony Brook '71's peformance is solid but that recording leaves a lot to be desired.

For ABB (career wise) I'd go with Whipping Post.

This is the song I am most looking forward to in Feburary

The Stone Roses - Resurrection

One of my favorite studio songs ever in addition to being one of the most underrated in-studio jams ever. The coda is unbelievable playing by the whole band. I just don't see a live version topping the near perfect take of the studio.
