2014/12/05 Punta Cana, DROne Set: Helicopters > Humuhumunukunukuapuaa (inv) > The Great Abyss (inv) > Cyclone > Moshi Fameus > Jam > Above the Waves (end) > On Time > Helicopters, Spaga > Morph Dusseldorf (end)

2014/12/06 Punta Cana, DR
Set 1: Spraypaint > Tricycle > Spraypaint, Reactor > Jigsaw Earth (mid) > Reactor
Set 2: Confrontation, Basis For a Day > Bernstein & Chasnoff > Tempest > Basis For a Day > Lunar Pursuit > Devil Inside (INXS cover) > Basis For a Day
Encore: Highwire

12/5 Humu had some nice blisco going in to abyss. Barber kinda fricks up in humu>abyss playing the main section early but quickly fixes it. But abyss>cyclone>jam>Moshi>above the waves is straight techno madness. Best above the waves I've heard this year

Spagadorf speaks for itself

About to put on 12/6

Also get your new years bingo cards in.

Humuhumunukunukuapuaa (inv) > The Great Abyss (inv) > Cyclone > Moshi Fameus > Jam > Above the Waves (end) is probably my favorite portion of Holidaze. Unbelievable.

That Morph Dusseldorf ending Geez Louise that is an infectious, little groove. So much fun and just bubbling with energy and the jam doesn't even go anywhere.

Going to go ahead and say 12/5 > 12/6 > 12/3.

Unfortunately, the Spraypaint > Tricycle > Spraypaint isn't what I was hoping for after getting excited for the setlist leaks.

Don't understand the Reactor > Jigsaw > Reactor hype, but I do like Barber's hoarse voice more.

Confrontation is killer from 15:00 onward.

B&C is always so underrated. Love that song. Wish we could catch it for the NYE run but highly unlikely now.

Tempest just keeps getting better and better and better. Love it.

Playing Phish songs has got to be the most taboo thing you can do in the Jamband scene. Yesterday, in response to hearing that "Billy and the kids" played Chalkdust, I was saying that I don't think any music should be off-limits. It's music. It's meant to be played. In that spirit, I'm gonna post this video my buddy Kyle just sent me of Electron playing Tweezer Reprise the night before Halloween in 2008. Tom the Ham Hamilton and Aron Magner just killing it, as per the usual. And there's a pretty good drummer back there named Joe Russo!

I figured you'd be vouching for a Tractorbeam song from January as song of the year.
