I like the 70s funky stuff. Wish i was able to post links from work like some of you more fortunate posters (always posting off my phine). IT blocks all the good shite like TD and youtube.

I think we are long overdue for a triumvirate sponsored reggae/ska thread.

I could start one today. It'd be roots/ rocksteady / dub - centered though. I admittedly am not much of a ska guy.

i really like the 60/70s fusion stuff, but stuff before that I don't always love.

anyway, i really dig Madlib's the Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz & Percussion Ensemble

mainly cause I just love madlib.

yeah, anything he does without rapping in it is pretty good. when he adds rap.....sometimes its good (madvillian) and sometimes not.

he is just so fricking prolific, its hard to keep up with it.

What I love about last electro acoustic space jazz, is its all fictional characters he made up that contributed. How the frick he does this I have no idea.

I like his Quasimoto albums though. Definitely not for everyone and rarely do I ever recommend them to people because it's so different.
