So this is going to be my first Jazz Fest. Really looking forward to it.

Not arriving until Friday night though. Who should I check out early Saturday before Anders/Phish?

I'm not familiar with the two early acts at Acura and Galaxy, are they worth a watch?

How early do I have to be at the main stage, in order to get in front of the sbd for phish?

you should get there at the beginning of anders osbourn, but you need to go around the back of the acura stage and enter on the other side. it gets WAYY too crowded on the side close to the entrance (left if youre facing the stage)

plus there will be a shite ton of douchebags blocking shite with their gayass folding chairs

That was my plan. I don't want to be too close, but I'm not getting stuck with an obstructed view.

When I was in high school I sat through Dr. John, the subdudes, and Galactic to get a good spot for Dave Matthews (yes DMB, I was a baller)

Last year, we didn't have to wait because the mud kept all the gaypers out. I was right up front for fleetwood mac. I also was pretty close for tom petty and arcade fire the years before

I've always gotten a good spot at the Acura stage and it's pretty easy to do if you have a plan and are persistent. using the bathroom is a problem but i always bring a powerade bottle

2006? That was fun. It was a rite of passage to be in the front of the Acura stage for Saturday headliners.

Yeah, I wouldn't bank on getting a good spot after Anders. Most people will be settled by that point.

Anyone special playing with Anders for the set? Any rumors?

And I agree with the statement. Venn diagrams, bro.
