Listening to this album tonight and it amazes me that Isaac Brock was an alcoholic putting this music together just over 16 years ago. It's a shame that MM really got big after GNFPWLBN because they had some great music before that.

One of my favorite albums ever. I'm glad they got really big after though, they deserved it. The music was never quite as good, but it's not like it's because they got too big, it's because topping the Lonesome Crowded West and The Moon and Antarctica would be like Wilt Chamberlain having to score more than 100 points.

All Modest Mouse is good music IMO

I like those early MM records, but for some reason they never stuck in any regular listening rotation for me... And I never have the desire to listen back...

Saw them at the bayou and they put on a good show...

Maybe I'll go back and give them a relisten...
