Incredulous obviously doesn't mean what you think it means because that statement makes no sense. Cotton and I are musical soul mates and he typed everything I was thinking. Not sure what's "incredulous" about that.

It is an adjective which means "unable to believe something," "in disbelief," or "unbelieving" in this context, and I am incredulous that you keep making incorrect inferences and inaccurate statements. Based on your misquoting my posts and stating incorrect information, your statement that you were right as usual was absolutely incredulous. Cotton has nothing to do with my post; nor do I have a clue why you are referring to him, here. You are who I am directly posting to, now, and previously.

And no, you didn't say that to Doc (I added that part myself), but you seemed incredulous of the fact that he had ever even been to a concert, let alone actually knows what he's talking about. And there was no emoticon, but that's neither here nor there..

Once again, incredulous. This is posted directly above the statement in which you are referring. I really don't know how you could miss it. I also do not know how you could miss the overt sarcasm in that statement; however, since you did, your "adding a part" to my original quote presents a problem. You changed the entire meaning into a literal one which was clearly not my intent. It seems in your rush to jump to Doc's defense against your erroneously perceived attack by me, you missed the joke.
quote:

I don't give a flying frick whether or not Kenny Chesney is your favorite artist to ever live. I just think it's hilarious that you're so pissed off over the fact that most of us happen to think he sucks. You're entitled to your opinion, does that same rule not apply to the rest of us?

You suck at reading people/posters. Yet another WRONG inference. I'm not nor have I been pissed off about any of this except being misquoted by you. As a matter of fact, you are the one taking an issue on a message board with an anonymous poster rather personally, getting all hysterical imagining your need to defend "Cotton," your musical soul mate, and "Doc" because you wanted to make sure I knew that he knew what he was talking about. That's a little odd. Quite frankly, zero fricks are given by me as to who likes what music, or who knows what about music. You, on the other hand, seem to care way too much.

quote:

Take a Xanax

Ahh ... Now I see your problem.

Go read her post she was obviously replying to me. Don't attack someone else for their reading comprehension when yours obviously needs some work as well

Yeah, I mentioned earlier that old country artists talked about paying their dues.

This is on par with rap lyrics. Really.

I can find mainstream rap lyrics 10x better than most country music made today

One day they'll admit country music has changed. As it always does. There is no denying Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan are 2012 country music. That is fact. You may like their music or not. But they are modern day country music. Period.

Modern day mainstream country isn't what I consider country. I couldn't give half a frick who thinks it is I don't. I don't acknowledge it is a part of the genre. End of story.

Yep. Completely hysterical.

Read that post again (or don't. You could just as easily read all the other posts that disagree with you with which you are NOT taking issue). My comments were directed to more than just you...if I ever have to address you again (God forbid), I will be sure to provide you with your own thread so there will be no confusion as to with whom I am conversing. You took it upon yourself to decide that my comment to Cotton was "incredulous". Even better, your original usage of incredulous was wrong. But hey, you apparently looked up the meaning so kudos for learning something tonight.

You are the ONLY person in this thread to get aggressive. Contrary to what you are choosing to believe, we respect other posters' opinions around here. Sure, we'll make fun of you a little bit but I've never used my difference in musical opinions to belittle another or to insult another's intelligence (or reading comprehension). We music boarders are a peaceful people. If you don't like the way we play, you can take your toys and get the frick out

agreed

it's souless, corporate, bullshite, pop fluff aimed to cater to a specific audience and to sell records.

it's bullshite.

and anyone that defends it as some sort of legitimate "country music" should have the aldean cd slapped out of their hands

In all honesty, I don't really care what they admit, believe, or listen to. Anyone who lives anywhere near reality knows what the deal is. Closed minded, illogical people don't interest me. People who don't give a shite about facts or about misrepresenting them, I have no time for, either.

Now, I'm going to listen to El Cerrito Place which was written by Keith Gattis, and I'm going to listen to Kenny Chesney's version, which is the best one recorded, EVAAARRRR !!!!!!!!!!!

Doc the difference we have here is not that I like Aldean's music. I don't. It's garbage. The dude couldn't write a song if he had to. Same goes for the Rascal Flatts. What I've said all along is that the music they are making is country music. That's what is considered country today. I like some of it. Most of it is exactly as you have described. But it is country music even if its that hard for y'all to accept.

I think one could make a pretty good argument The Dance was the the last GREAT country song written. And by great I mean Top 10 worthy.

Look at the Top 10 of all time. You'll find songs from every decade back to the 60's. I can't think of 1 song that'll ever break into the Top 10 from 2000 or 2010.

I agree for the most part. I would argue "Austin" Blake Shelton, and "Where Were You," "Drive" and "Remember When" by Alan Jackson were really good songs. Top 10? I don know. That's really a subjective thing. But I'm a big fan of Alan Jackson.

There is so much hypocritical utter bull shite in your last post, it would take until Christmas Day to respond to it all. I am incredulous at your audacity.

Btw, I took the liberty of googling a website for you since you seem to be having trouble with that word and how to use it in sentences. ( Oh, FYI, I was spot on.) Hope it helps!

Here it is: sentence.yourdictionary.com/incredulous

I thought you might need this, also, so I'll just leave it here.

Audacity - bold or insolent heedlessness of restraints, as of those imposed by prudence, propriety, or convention.

I might be back tomorrow for my very own personal thread you promised to provide for me!

Can't wait!
