Saw him in Dallas last Friday and it was fricking awesome. His son came and hung out with us before the show and he was cool as shite. Sad seeing Jerry Jeff age physically but he sounds amazing and the show was so much fun. Trashy Women is a hilarious song.

Also played Navajo Rug, a song that I love

I was waiting to meet him at Margaritaville in Bossier. He told the chick in front of me that she had nice tits. Can go wrong being a dirty old man.

I tried very hard to listen to the whole song, but I find it cringeworthy. Sounds like he is just mumbling his way around.

But to each his own.

Navajo Rug is my favorite tune (Tom Russell song but Jerry Jeff made it great)

Damn, I hate i'm gonna miss this one. Haven't seen him and he's on my list to see I've gotta checkoff.

Here's my favorite of his.

Pick up truck song

Reminds me of when I was a little kid and would ride all over with my dad saturday morning to do all kinds of country stuff and visit his buddies.

I was there!! I could not find anyone to go with me, even had an extra ticket for free.

It was their loss and I am so glad I went. 1st time to see a show at L'auberge, easy in and out, very relaxed pre-show atmosphere.

JJW can still hold a good tune at his age. He has been one of my favs since the mid 70's and saw him and the Warehouse way back when. I thoroughly enjoyed the show!!

Glad you enjoyed it. Jerry Jeff has always been a favorite of mine. My mom kept his greatest hits cd in our car and we listened to it on the way to football games. She also said my uncle who passed away before I was born used to listen to him. So seeing him live and up close was very nostalgic and sentimental for me and felt like I was seeing an old friend. Before the show his son Django came and hung out with us at the bar and he was really cool. You're right, by the way, it is sad seeing Jerry Jeff age, but he sounds great and can still play a great show.

I'm listening to "Blue Mood" as I type this. What an awesome song and an awesome singer.
