As I was taking a guitar lesson online the other night learning how to play Hotel California. I realized that I would've loved to had seen the Eagels in their prime.
I saw where they are touring one last time this year and got excited until I found out that the closest their coming is Bossier City.

Any Eagles fans on here?

I guess you & I are in the minority. I'm a fan and saw them at Red Rocks many years ago.

They have said this at least a dozen times.

I saw them during Hell Freezes Over - with Felder - I'm torn about going to see them this year, as it is probably the last time (at least a big tour) - but I just won't enjoy it as much without Felder. Leadon being on the tour is the only thing that makes me say, "Not 100% sure either way right now" on going to see the current show.

And I mean - Hell Freezes over - they were still in their 40s - they're all pushing 70 now.

I always been a fan and they didn't disappoint live at Jazz Fest. Sounded like the records. Harmonies on point.

Saw them on the current tour in New Orleans 13 months ago.

If you like the Eagles, you will love this tour. Joe Walsh is still a mad man.

I'm assuming Don Henley and Glen Frey will be part of the tour?

Big Eagles fan.

Saw them in New Orleans last year. They played great. Unfortunately the sound man was shite.

They played alot of the old stuff in the first set.
In the second set Joe Walsh blew the doors off the place.

Steuart Smith is a good replacement for Felder, though you can tell the difference in playing style.

I saw the Eagles several times in the 1970's, and they did not disappoint. I saw them with Bernie Leadon, Don Felder, Joe Walsh, Randy Meisner and Timothy B. Schmidt. Every member of the band was an accomplished musician. They were good prior to Hotel California, but they were spectacular live touring for Hotel California and The Long Run.
