both shows were great. I as closer to the stage for SCI so they took the cake. Bringing out guest helped too. Blind Alabama boys at the end was cool. Colorado Blue Bird sky took the cake, IMO.

I see. You really should see SCI at their own venue or a 3-day run. They add something to the show that I feel is lacking from most other artists. They are great at expressing their music along with the vibes of the crowd.

Late 90s SCI is really good. Seek out some of those 97-98 soundboards. Really great stuff.
Early 2000s they turned into Phish-lite IMO.
With the exception of Leftover Salmon I'm bored with the whole Colorado cosmic bluegrass stuff. Boring to me.

I feel ya. Both are already two of my favorite bands in such a short period of time. I just love jam bands. To me there's nothing better than hearing every member clicking and doing their thing together and feeding off each other.

Not yet. I bought 3 archived shows from 01-03 because I had a bunch of iTunes gift cards and they're all great.

The fact is, phish doesn't jam any more. It's the same cookie cutter crap over and over everytime i see them. shite even moe. played exponentially better than phish this weekend. I'd like to say they sucked just this weekend but it's everytime I've seen them the last two years. They aren't even worth the price of admission any more. It's obvious that this band is on their way out. that performance was an insult and embarrassment to phish phans.
Music board phish mafia can continue to waste money on that nostalgia act but i think I'll save my money next time.
