Same. Strange thing is I’ve probably listened to Sonic Temple twice as much as the other two combined because of my friends.

Me too probably. Sonic Temple was our senior year album so we wore it out.

I found Love after ST and Electric and I go back n forth on which is the best.

The Phoenix from Love. I remember flying down the streets of BR Ttops off, blasting it.

All 3 are criminally underrated.

Rick Rubin helped make Electric a rock masterpiece.

I was already in love with Electric and Love, but when I moved into DOHA with my roommates in 1989, we only had about five cd’s and Sonic Temple was one. We wore it out.

Yep, I wouldn’t live there now, but it was fine in the late’80’s. One semester I had to ride my bike to class and had to cruise through that cemetery twice a day.

Love, Electric, Sonic Temple

The holy trinity

Love - a post punk goth rock sound
Electric - straight Les Paul driven hard rock
Sonic Temple - Bob rock’s wall of sound arena rock.

No way I could list those three in a favorite order.

Funny thing, in that video, he’s actually playing his Gretsch White Falcon.

I lived in St Tropez in early 90’s and I rode my bike thru that cemetery on purpose cuz parking on campus was a nightmare. Those early years in college were the best ever!!

My favorite Cult song (love the long version)

The way Ian dances in the beginning is so classic.

Wild Flower and Peace Dog were a great one/two punch to start the album.

I know Fire Woman might be a bit overplayed. But the guitar in that song slays.

I saw them in concert on the Electric tour with Billy Idol in 1987.

I went to see The Cult, who were opening for Idol. Billy was just a bonus, and also great.
