I loved when they came out with the feature to FF to the next song... shout out to the guy that invented that!

Once I found out that you could get tape decks with that feature, I never bought another one without it.

I remember my first piece of shite Audiovox back in 86 in my car didn't even have reverse, and you had to take the tape out and flip it to play the opposite side.

My mom's 99 Maxima came with a tape deck in it. Apparently she still listens to religious tapes in it, because a year or so ago I took it to get some work done and there was a tape sticking out. I played it and was instantly reminded of that goddamn nasty tape hiss and how shitty the sound quality was. I truly feel we often fail to appreciate just how good we have it now.

One thing I do miss is that back in the 80s and 90s, at least the average fan had a chance to get a good seat for a concert now just by showing up to buy a ticket or calling Ticketmaster. With the way the best seats are sold as packages today and how many are given to re-sellers, all the best seats are gone before they ever go on sale.

No shite. It was responsive to penis.

BTW, did Springsteen ever do Blinded, or simply pen it? Did he get paid?
Yes. Search for it. It's so miserable it makes me wonder how MM saw enough potential in it to cover it. Like bad Bob Dylan bad.

Remember those other two cassette filters? There was Dolby, then there was chrome and magnetic, is that right?

I wish I had bought all the cassettes I had on vinyl instead.
