Panopticon just remastered and released some of his very early material in the form of an "album" called Revisions of the Past. Great as usual from him.

True Widow - Theurgist

Saw this band open for Baroness in 2013. Stoner rock Shoegaze sound. New album coming out in September.

Long live this thread. I can't remember what's been posted anymore but stumbled across this little gem from Portugal's biggest heavy rock band. Pretty good production quality.

The Advocate has an article on the Melvins show tomorrow night LINK. Spanish Moon says limited tickets will be available at the door so I guess its close to selling out.

Cannot overstate how dissappointed I am in the new Blues Pills album. It's horrible compared to their debut.

They kicked arse last night. I preferred this show much more than the One Eyed Jacks performance earlier this spring. It seemed like there were fewer jackasses in the crowd and people overall were much more chill.

I can't get over how badass that female drummer for Helms Alee is. She puts nearly every ounce of energy into each beat.

Recently discovered this band. From what I've read, they're big across the pond.

Much appreciation once again John for this thread and specifically introducing All Them Witches to the MB. Driving back home from Indy two nights ago I stopped for the night in Atlanta. Fantastic timing as they were playing that night at The EARL, same place I saw Pallbearer last February. Holy HELL they were fantastic!!!

Here's a video of Swallowed By The Sea that I shot from the show (kinda dark but decent sound):

So once again, thanks and cheers to JohnZeroQ.

Good stuff.

How are they not more popular? Maybe that's a good thing.

Sayre, have you posted this one?

Causa Sui - Return to Sky

released back in March. Don't know how I missed this one. More of the same you'd expect from them. A pure blissful sonic journey.

I may have to start this entire thread over. about 3.5 years of solid posts here.
