I've been keeping an eye on this the last few years and it looks like a blast. Really reasonably priced as well for what you get.

Same. I've wanted to go for a while. Plans kept falling through. I'm going this year if I have to go alone.

I want to go

I don't even need to read the lineup

The type of person interested in Steamboat could probably correctly guess about 85% of it every year

Steamboat local here. Haven't been to the music fest but happy to answer any questions about the town, lodging, and what not. Work at ski rental place, so could help out with that as well.

Yeah, it's a lot of the usual suspects. But that's why I want to go.

Surprised RRB isn't on the list at the moment. Gotta think they'll be there, though. I'd also really like to see The Damn Quails get their shite together and make an appearance.

Went 8 years in a row with a big group and loved every minute we were there. It's a blast.

Where are the best places to stay that are close to the festival? I'm no OT baller, but if my wife and I make this our big winter trip then I don't want to stay at a motel 6 either.

Steamboat Grand is where it all goes down, day and night. Parties after hours on the top floor...etc. try and get a room there you won't regret it

Anywhere around the base area is gonna be short walking distance. Even some of the further off slope places are not a far walk from the festival. Most places have shuttles, and probably will have extra shuttles running for the fest.

The Grand is the primo location, but I imagine it'd be pricey compared to other locations. The West condominiums are literally next to the lot, but I don't know too much about them.
