Easy now. Tap the brakes. It's a great cover. Let's leave it at that.

Exactly, nice cover and I admire the balls for having a go at it, I just dont like the guys voice and I heard an interview with Draiman and he is quite taken with himself.

Meh. He's singing about two octaves lower than Paul + Art and they slowed it down too much.

His voice fits well for what they tried to do. It isn't the greatest cover I have ever heard, but it is WAY better than I expected.

They slowed the song down and made it darker. Its an interesting interpretation.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cover. My buddy told me about it before I heard it and I assumed Disturbed was going to try to metal it out and it would be awful. It's not bad at all.

I love this song. I'm a huge Paul and Art fan. But I have to admit to myself that I like this version better. And TBH, the original was one of my favorite songs. It's got perhaps the best opening line of any song.

I think it's amazing.

Looking forward to seeing them on the 11th.

The "original" original (Paul, Artie and Paul's guitar)? Or the "sweetened" original, with the backing band from Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" on the Sounds of Silence album?

yep. Bought them the second they went on sale. Can't remember the name of the opening band, but they brought out the singer midway through the show and they did a cover of Killing in the Name, and they absolutely crushed it.

It's freaking incredible. Whoever says that they don't like that is an idiot and has no taste in songs.

Very good cover
I agree it is almost a different song the way it's done by Disturbed

I see the appeal I guess, but I do not like this. I heard someone in Target parking lot the other day blaring it from his TransAm. 'Nuff said

Paul likes the cover and has said so. That should be more than enough to refute the trollness of folks with similar opinions.

I understand how it might turn off some folks, but I think it's a great cover. (If it matters, I was born in the late 60s.)

You mean Paul likes the royalties he is receiving off of this cover....It may only be 10 cents per copy, but a successful cover can be a sweet little payday

Paul Simon is in his 70s and worth $45 million dollars. This won't even register as a blip - it will just go into his charitable giving.

I don't think he would compromise his "art" (pardon the pun) and pump a cover he didn't like. JMHO as always.
