Geez, that was more cringe than pro shot mirrors. 20x more cringe. Trey anastasio is a little bit too shallow and dumb to be the "king of jam". I couldnt even make it past the 1:30 mark.

Ask me a question.
How many do you have? I have over 3500 vinyl albums still boxed up, waiting for kids/grandkids to move out to set up my music room again. I originally had mine organized by A-Z for rock albums, and then another section for blues/jazz/RnB. Of course, my decision on some cross-over artists, and in addition to A-Z, I would group Harrison/Lennon/McCartney & Ringo under Beatles, just like Bruce/Clapton/Baker with Cream. How do you organize?

I have +/- 7000, and I alphabetize close to the same way.

Marco- I bet even if we combined our collections we still would only scratch the surface of all the great music out there! I didn't start buying CD's until around 1989 or 1990, just glad I hung on to my vinyl collection. I still collect old vinyl mostly for collector value, but CD's are convenient, especially since I spend a lot of time in my car.

There aren't enough hours in a lifetime to make a dent in listening to all the fantastic music made.

Back up 30 years or so, there were only a handful of musicians recording most of their live performances (the Dead as an example)--it was costly and required massive amounts of reel tape. There were also not many sound guys that really knew what they were doing when it came to live, on the fly recordings too, which led to many of the shows that were captured to never be let out due to poor quality.

With the advancement of recording gear and storage, damn near every musician for the last 15 years has every show and rehearsal they have ever done on hard disk the inter webs and in pretty good quality. The amount of music available today from just about any artist is staggering!

I just need more time!

I still buy plenty of CDs.
So many people who purchased CDs in the late 80's thru the '00s are now in their 40's and don't feel like messing with hard media. They rip 'em and get rid of the collection. There is an over abundance of CDs out there!

I love picking up 20 used discs for $50-$75 bucks. Many times it was the album I didn't want to spend $15 on back in the day, but now can get for a few dollars. And many of them surprise me--"man, I never realized this band was that good!"

Enjoy the listen...
