Corey Taylor is one of the biggest douches in all of rock. He's ruined Slipknot by trying to make them sound like Stone Sour. Slipknot would be better off with a new singer.

I'm a Corey Taylor fan, though not huge on Slipknot. I have some of their albums, but I'm not a true "maggot". Little to heavy for me for the most part.
Stone Sour is pretty good, although Audio Secrecy was one of the biggest pieces of crap I have ever listened too. Their new album after that was much better, but it's tough to top Come Whatever May.

he's definitely talented, but he does come across as a douche in the interviews I have seen of him. Typical anti-conservative musician. Which is fine with me, I can separate the politics from the music. I'm sure 90% of bands I listen too probably hate all conservatives. As long as they keep putting out great music, IDGAF.

He's trying to make himself into a brand name rather than just being the singer of Slipknot or Stone Sour. Joey Jordison does lots of projects too but they're not all about him, they're about the band. Plus he's actually talented.
