Comes out in February. Ryan Adams is a must see show IMO.

How do you mean on carrying a weekend show? I'd think he'd sellout the Orpheum on a Friday/Saturday night.

His Jazz Fest set was bizarre. He had 30 minutes of material prepared for a 45 minute set. He was stalling and it turned extremely awkward. I'm like, dude, you release an album every 4 months. You have 800 songs to choose from. Just sing one.

With the new album out soon I would expect more dates to be announced. Follow his Facebook page if you have a Facebook, they announce dates there right after his website.

I know what you are saying. I'm a huge Ryan Adams fan, but during his live shows he tends to just ramble on and go off on tangents. Even though I'm a huge fan, I'll willfully admit that he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I want to hear Bill Burr, Louis C.K, or Milo do standup/go off on rants...not Ryan Adams.
It becomes tiresome with his "funny songs" and/or "rants". Just shutup and play!

i dont think one has been released but just the name of the new single "doomsday" seems to be what people are assuming where i was looking (might be worth a shot if we get no other updates by then but i assume we will get a mailout from him or the orpheum next week)
