Damn, tough to hear.

Saw his son and Greg Allman's son play at ACA about a year ago in Lafayette. His son has the look and the exact sound as his dad.

Highly recommend checking them out - Allman Betts Band - if theyre ever in your area.

Damn RIP to a legend. He's inspired so many guitarists today. Solid tribute:

Fortunate to see him with ABB in 1998 at Jazz Fest. One of the most memorable performances I’ve seen.
He was special.
RIP

Rest in Peace Brother.
Caught him twice with the ABB - OKC Amp in 1994 and again at Starplex in Dallas in 1999. Both shows were great

Used to play shows with a gunslinger belt on with loaded six-shooters. He was a baw. RIP.

Blue Sky is hitting a little harder today. Allman Bros are a piece of southern history. RIP DB!

Quite simply the sweetest and most beautiful music ever conceived of and executed onto a guitar by a human being.

You were the best, Richard!
