6/10
Not bad, but nothing in it stands out and it reminds me strongly of an old song that I can't put my finger on.
Apparatjik featuring Auto Goon - Time Police
Regarding Slint, a couple of good friends of mine were thanked in David Pajo's album, Pajo.

5/10 started off decent enough, but it got a bit annoying as it went on. it's not bad though

8/10 - Takes me back to my "How the frick did I get here" nights in LA. Good times.
I am going off the charts again. Mix Korean buk drums, an FSU war chant, string music, and a bit of rap, and you get this beauty.

6/10 That video was completely distracting. Once I minimized my browser I was able to enjoy the song more. I like the music enough, but the vocals and lyrics were a bit off putting. I could see this growing on me though

8/10 -
But seriously, that's a pretty bumping song. I really like 90's/early 00's IDM/downtempo.
Air - La Femme d'Argent

10/10 That is my favorite Air song, which is saying a lot. I used to play the shite out of that record when it came out. Nice post

Quality 9/10 very artistic and I do like some of their stuff but:
Listening pleasure 5/10 because I need real lyrics not just vocal sounds. That's okay in moderation. Also was kind of pretentious with the bow. I mean I like atmospheric music but the album Lightdark by Nosound is more my style when it comes to that.
Tim Buckley - Song to the Siren

8/10 I had no idea Frusciante covered that song. Thought the one on the Empyrean was an original.
Ernie - Make It Far
Posted this to give love to one of my favorite Youtubers, BigdawsTv, who just released his album Ernie's Journey today.

um.... uh.... I kept wanting to turn it off, but for some reason I couldn't. It was oddly addictive. Nothing made me laugh out loud, but it was awkwardly funny nonetheless. I give it:
6/10 I wanted to 1/10 it, but I can't. I hate admitting that I liked it
Jesus and Mary Chain - Coast to Coast

6/10 - not a huge fan of the combo of Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell but this song's pretty good. Not a bad song by any means, just doesn't jazz me or anything.
Keeping with the 90's grunge/alternative theme... Alice in Chains - I Stay Away

yeah it really isn't a great song. Used to hear it a lot on satellite radio a few years back.
The Strumbellas- Spirits
Trying to decide if i like the bad less having seen what they look like. Really like the song though.

7/10. Very anthemic. Reminds me of that band Fun. Not sure if I would like it more with repeated listens or find it annoying, but it was catchy and good on this first spin.
Snoop Dogg and RATM - Bounce. Not sure how this song never got huge being that both were massive stars at the time. I happened upon it by accident in the napster days.

Yeah I don't know anything regarding the origin of that song. I had it on a mix CD from my accidental discovery on napster, and I have not been able to find it for years until Youtube gained in popularity. It's a very cool song, and I am baffled how it never was pushed by promoters.
Back to ratings...
6/10 Stabbing Westward has always been that band that is decent enough but a bit too formulaic for me. They aren't bad, but I've never really liked them neither.
Bjork w/ Skunk Anansie - Armie of Me
