Probably too big of a hassle for the venue. At least they can ensure that the best seats aren't all scalped.

You'd have to start letting people in at noon. Just imagine all of the issues there would be and how long that would take...

I understand your point though, it will work for smaller shows...not really arenas.

If you read the later posts in this thread, you'll see how tough of a ticket it was in NOLA. I'm sure it was more of the same with Atlanta, and probably everywhere else.

It's a short tour too, that doesn't help.

Atlanta basically sold out immediately. I tried as soon as the clock hit 10 est and the page loaded, and by the time I could search, they were sold out.

the stubhub tickets arent really bad for those who didnt get tickets. for the 100s you can get tickets for $120-140 range, which isnt paying that big of a premium all things considering. but like anything in Nola, you can always roll the dice and wait for the night before or day of when prices usually crash.
