How many of yall did this?

Did you trust the bar to calculate this?

Did they keep a tab on your drinks?

Is this still a thing for gigging bands?

Do you mean a percent of the door?

Us shitty bands played for a precent of the bar, there was no cover at the door.

We generally take all the door cover which varies depending on venue. Took percent of bar once, got royally screwed and subsequently quit that policy.

Late 90s, early 2000s used to take the door or a set price. drinks were almost always included.

Playing a 2 hour acoustic gig next Saturday with buddy of mine. We do 2 or 3 of these a year for fun. 150 a piece drinks/food included. I enjoy acoustic gigs a lot more these days because of the easy set up and tear down.

How many songs do you figure into a two hour acoustic gig? Seems like that would add up.

We'll play 2 sets of 15 songs or so.
