Not saying the releases were bad, I just liked the direction they went into from OK Computer to In Rainbows.

King of Limbs was ok but I might have listen to it a handful of times.

So bands widely regarded as the best of all time?
When did the Beatles and Rolling Stones enter the conversation? People who consider Phish and/or Radiohead the best bands of all time don't amount to a sliver of those who regard the Beatles and/or Rolling Stones as the best. They are narrowly considered the best if you want to be kind.

The string of releases from The Bends to In Rainbows is of such a consistently high quality that hadn't been seen since Pink Floyd's run in the 70s.

Or that one phish show when you bought that stuff from the dude in the blue bandana. Man, that show sounded crazy good, amirite?

It's apples and oranges, but yes, Phish and Radiohead are and will be considered amongst the best rock bands of all time, and not for the same reasons that the Beatles and the Stones were/are.

You are ignorant of what the word "rock" means if you truly believe that.

Phish jams, they don't "rock". Jazz chords and noodlin' is fine for showing off how technically proficient one is at playing an instrument but... well you know where I'm going with this.

a rock song from a band that rocks:

Exactly. What Phish does is much too unique to be dumbed down by the word "rock".

Not widely. Among their aficionados, yes they will be considered the best bands, but not by the masses, which would be required to be widely considered the best.
