I know its older but they are as close as I have heard to matching the sound and fury that is Pantera.

Nice thanks for this. I'm a Pantera lover from upstate NY. If I ever make it down to Louisiana, Anselmo's restaurant is on the bucket list.

Texas Hippie Coalition does a few Panteraesque songs as well. Nobody can compete with the original CFH.

Throwdown and Texas Hippie Coalition are both absolute garbage. I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing Throwdown open for some other bands in 2005 and they were really bad. They played the worst Crowbar cover I have ever heard.
