Which song do I personally prefer? November Rain. Freebird is a great damn song, but I've always thought it a touch overrated vis a vis the rest of their catalogue.
And to the extent one were on the fence about which song is better, I think a fair tiebreaker would be whether either of them have a music video with a guy unnecessarily jumping through a wedding cake.

I love NR...Slash is a genius imho....but this question isn't even a question...FreeBird man. The magnum opus of the band...the three guitar attack...the symbolism...its really not even a close discussion.

I love the video of LS playing Freebird back in the day at an outdoor festival in England. The guitarists are just shredding he hell out of it and don’t want to stop. Ronnie finally taps one and gives him the finger for “one more.”
