Awesome band and sorely underrated.

I am pumped about this.

Probably going to buy this one on payday - I'm more excited for this than the Foo's. Been a fan since the first time I heard Wolf Like Me and specifically went to Voodoo that year to see them live.

One of my very favorite bands. I pre-ordered this on Amazon back in Sept so to say I'm eagerly anticipating it is an understatement.

As far as if it's any good, I don't see how it can't be. They've yet to make anything even so-so and I don't see that changing. I have heard one new song on KLSU and I really liked it, so that bodes well.

In my personal opinion they are the most under-appreciated band in existence. I first heard of them when Staring At The Sun was on the Six Feet Under sountrack and I was blown away.

I just came to this board to post that this CD is really fricking good, imo. I kinda liked TV on the Radio before. Just kinda. But this is, while more listenable, still pretty original. Loving this shite. Listened to it multiple times today without skipping songs.

eta: really loving it.

Can't be worse than their last album. They need to return to cookie mountain.

Really liking it after first listen.

"Seeds" might be the standout track for me. I really like their "pretty" songs, though (Family Tree, A Method, etc..)

They really are.

All of their albums are fantastic.

Just a bad arse band that makes great music.

Not sure if serious.

Don't get me wrong, they have some great work that I truly love. But critics and hipsters alike JIZZ ALL OVER them and always have.

But they've gotten almost no mainstream airplay.

But yes they're hipster darlings. How could they not be? Black dudes making interesting, artsy music. That's some shite white people like right there.

Just referring to popularity in general. I feel like the public should know more about this band.
