This album's a beast. It's going to take me a while to see where it stands among the other albums.

I actually liked Local Business a lot. It was so different from The Monitor, which was an intense and emotional album. Local Business was just fun and makes you want to jump around. I still prefer The Monitor, but they are both good in their own right IMO.

Oh no doubt. I enjoyed Local Business for what it was. Just fun punk rock & roll songs meant to be performed live.

So far TMLT is blowing my mind. So much to explore here.

I like Local Business a lot as well, although not as much as The Airing of Grievances, and definitely not The Monitor.

The new one is an absolute beast. It's going to take some time to wrap my head around it.

I received my copy today. Came with a shirt, poster, and a 7" of the Dimed Out single signed by the band!

Yeah, I'm loving the Rolling Stones-meets-The Clash feel of this album.

I thought it was released on Tuesday? Anyhow, this is a great album. Probably my second favorite.

I've never listened to this band before, but I've always heard good things. What are they comparable to?

Husker Du, Springsteen, Hold Steady, The Replacements are some common comparisons

Apparently they just did a show with Craig Finn of the Hold steady in which they did some Billy Joel and 'Mats covers. Which seems perfect.

Titus is pretty much the perfect middle ground between Husker Du and the Replacements.

Yeah, I saw the Bastards of the Young cover they did. I heard they performed stuck between stations too, which I'd really like to see.

And I cannot stress this enough... if you've never seen them live, go. Last time I saw them, the bass player was crowd surfing while playing Richard III. It was insane. The closest thing to an honest to God hardcore show.

I've actually seen them twice. Would love to see them again though.

Went to pick it up over lunch. Now I can't wait to get home and play the thing.
