How old are you guys? This is clearly a throw back 80's style rap track like RUN DMC and Beasties Boys.

It's a hell of a lot better than his constant angry screaming from Recovery

Recovery had good content. Relapse had good rhyme schemes. If he could have put those 2 together, it would have been a master piece. Sadly, he didn't.

Eminem is my favorite rapper, although he's not what he used to be. I'm expecting big things from this album considering it's a sequel to a classic.

This is the sad thing. Given his recent body of work he doesn't have a chance of topping MM LP. Honestly an Encore quality album would be a pleasant surprise at this point.

awful

It not his best album but it definitely isn't awful. Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, and Mockingbird are some of his better songs. His singles off that album are just bad (Just Lose It/arse Like That).

I liked it. Don't know who produced it but def had a Rick Rubin wannabe feel.
The fact that he's naming his album MMII has me psyched since that was my favorite album of his by far.

To go along with the two really awful singles you mentioned, there were really awful songs like Puke, My 1st Single, Rain Man, and Big Weenie. Relapse is the album that gets hated on most often, but I honestly think Encore is way worse.

Encore was a flaming pile of shite.

First 3 albums are great, and then he doesn't recover until Recovery. I heard Relapse was good, but I couldn't get past that dumb arse accent.

Again it was really hit or miss. He has some really good songs on there, and I can't say the same about Relapse or Recovery. I don't think there is a memorable song on either album. I would rank the albums

1. MM LP
2. Eminem Show
3. SS LP
4. Enocre
5. Recovery
6. Relapse

That's just me though.

I loved it. There were a couple of meh songs, but overall, he came back hard. The untitled track at the end had me laughing my arse off.

No even gonna lie, that was fricking turrible. I'm a big fan of Eminem, but I hope the rest of the album is better.
