Just caught these guys play with Galactic in NYC last night and they absolutely killed it. I hadn't heard of them before but was really impressed.
What's the word on them in New Orleans? How long have they been around?

Theyre awesome and don't get enough credit around here. Not just a funk band, they get out there.

They are playing a free show on the beach here in about 4 minutes. I may have to walk up and catch them, hadn't heard of them before I saw the ad for the show.

They don't play a ton of gigs in N.O. I've caught them a few times, and really enjoy their music. The have a couple of albums out, but, as with most funk outfits, much better live.
