Heading to Nashville in the fall. I know plenty about things to do and whatnot but what are some newer music venues in/around Nashville?

I know about downtown. I know about The Ryman and Opry house. I usually check out 3rd and Lindsley and The Station Inn. I know The Rutledge shut down.

I am going to a concert at City Winery. What other new/up and coming venues are worth looking into?

Actually, it will be "kinda new". They are moving to Main Street (by Bolton's in East Nashville).

Mercy Lounge and the Cannery Ballroom are Nashville venues that bands often discussed on this board play.

Bluegrass Underground at the Cumberland Caves is high on my list to go see. I don't think its too far from Nashville.

It is at Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville...about 90 miles from Nashville.

Not sure how new, but check out The Station Inn, especially on Sunday night when a local favorite, Mike Farris, performs.
