looking to expand my rock horizons

Whether I'm trolling or not, my tastes on this board are often the subject of ridicule. Sure, I hate Drake, dubstep, edm, and have never sucked Trey Anastasia's Dick while high on molly at bonnaroo. However, I have come to humble myself before thine arbiters of musical taste to ask for recommendations on albums to explore. I received an amazon gift card for Christmas and thought it might be fun to spend it on some great rock music from this decade that I've never heard before. Please help this commercial radio shackled philistine.
My interests include zeppelin, tower of power, Stevie wonder, Jami Hendrix, gaslight anthem, streetlight manifesto, alter bridge, trombone shorty, soul rebels, skyward, Allman bros, yellowcard, black Sabbath, rush, g&r, ac/dc, ect

Idk how it'll apply to your tastes but I listened to Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division for the first time a couple days ago and I absolutely love it.

Two of favorite rock bands. Both somewhat under the radar
built to spill- carry the zero
the dismemberment plan- a life of possibilities
ETA: the first song I linked is my favorite song ever.

Time Traveling Blues
Check out this song by Orange Goblin. The album of the same name is absolutely loaded with great tunes.

Great Band. I've seen them 3 times and always a great show. If you like them listen to Hudson Bell
The Midnight Year
Slow Burn
Sitting here working and listening to The Eagulls, new band with a sorta Bauhaus/Joy Division sound.

AWOLNATION - Megalithic Symphony
Bring Me The Horizon - Sempiternal
Gotye - Making Mirrors
Three personal album favorites of mine in the last 5 years halfway along the main stream line in the US (AWOL is probably full fledged mainstream and you've heard a third already likely).

I told you to listen to Hudson Bell years ago for the same reason! You disappoint me. :(
Their latest album could pass for a Built to Spill album. It's really good. The one before that is excellent also.
