Looking for the best couple of jazz bars in N.O

Like the titles says, I'm looking for the best couple of jazz bars in N.O. I've got a couple guys back in N.O. for a week and I figured it'd be a good time grabbing some drinks and listening to some good jazz and catching up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

d.b.a. and the blue Nile Have more of a rock funk blues jazz, I'm talking about more of a classic jazz. Is Snug Harbor on Frenchmen too?

Yes it's on Frenchman. Chickie wah wah on canal just past broad ia another good jazz spot.

2. Spotted Cat also on Frenchman
3. Three Muses -yep, Frenchman
4. Bacchanal on Poland Ave in the Upper 9th Ward
5. Trumpeter Irvin Mayfield has 2 clubs: Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta Hotel and the I Club in the JW Marriott Hotel.
